BBC to deliver it's software suite for baggage handling operations, BASIS®, at Kittilä and Rovaniemi airports in Finland

We are very happy to once again have the chance to work together with our German partner Profluss, this time in Finland.

BBC will provide Profluss with its BASIS® software suite for implementing the SACs at Kittilä and Rovaniemi airports. The implementation is due to take place in Q2 2019. The BASIS® SAC is a modular system that can be hosted both on-premise and virtually and can easily scale to accommodate various airport sizes.

Kittilä Airport KTT, is a Finnish airport owned and operated by Finavia located in Kittilä inside the Arctic Circle. It handles general aviation and mostly seasonal international traffic and is one of the main airports in Northern Finland. It carried 325,160 passengers in 2017 being the fourth busiest airport in Finland. 

Rovaniemi Airport RVN (also known as Santa Claus Airport), is the third busiest airport in Finland, located in Rovaniemi, Finland, about 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of Rovaniemi city centre. The Arctic Circle crosses the runway closer to its northern end. The airport is owned and operated by Finavia.
