The Norwegian airport express train, Flytoget, has entered into a contract with BBC to implement the contactless Tagomat® onboard all its airport express trains. As far as we know this will be the first permanent installation in the world of tag printing devices onboard a train, where you can print your bag-tag travelling at a speed of more than 200 km/h, says Thomas Ågren CFO in BBC.

20 years ago, we started the company BB Computerteknikk AS (BBC). It has been a fantastic journey and an adventure, says Rune Thunem CEO and one of the founders of BBC. We started the company in a very difficult period for the airline industry, post 9/11. We saw opportunities where others saw problems and risk. The company needed to be innovative and competitive to get through that difficult period and that has strengthened the company and has become part of the company DNA.

Making travel easier. Already after a few months of operation passengers at London Heathrow Airport traveling with Air France KLM experience a more effective bag-drop process with the use of our Tagomat.
The Tagomat was displayed at this years IBM Watson Summit in Norway. Participants could experience for themselves how fast and easy self-tagging should be. In addition, it provided insight into the power of BBC's BI-solution MyAirports ability to turn data into knowledge about passenger flow.
Finally, a new era has begun in the handling of carry-on baggage. The new ClearScan from L3 is the first machine to achieve C3 approval from ECAC. This means less queuing and a hassle-free travel experience for all passengers with carry-on baggage.

Stavanger Airport Sola is nominated as one of the world's most punctual airports in 2016 by OAG (Official Aviation Guide).

Schiphol Airport Amsterdam has successfully implemented L3's ClearScan in their security check-point operation.
Tromsø was the first airport in Norway with self-service-bag-drop units from BBC back in 2008. The new SBD’s will be operational by December 2016. With this installation the two airports will have a total of 14 self-service-bag-drop positions to offer their passengers.
Almost all airlines offer its passengers the opportunity to check-in online or via an app. But regardless of good mobile solutions the passengers travelling with luggage still have to check-in using kiosks at the airport. In cooperation with Norwegian Airlines, BBC is offering passengers the opportunity to tag their luggage on the way to the airport and move directly to bag-drop thus saving time and money for passengers, airline and airport.
As of 28th of September passengers travelling with Norwegian from Stavanger Airport Sola will benefit from a quicker and easier self-service process with the next evolution in self-service concepts. The Tagomats are installed at eight convenient locations for the passengers.

Stavanger Airport, Sola (SVG) is an international airport serving Stavanger, a city and municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The airport is located 11 km southwest of Stavanger. It is Norway's third-busiest airport, with both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopter traffic for the offshore North Sea oil installations.
