We congratulate Frankfurt Airport with 4 brand-new retrofit self-service positions (BAGOMAT) from BBC in terminal 1 and 2, providing its passengers with the quickest bag-drop solution on the market. The project was delivered on-time together with our German partner Profluss. 
Passengers benefits – less time standing in line at the airport, less stress and more time to spend in the post-security shopping area – aligned with airport focus on providing a seamless and efficient travel experience for its passengers. 

The BAGOMAT retrofit solution is mounted on existing check-in desks and allows for the use of existing conveyors and scale. 
The solution is:

• Available as 1-step or 2-step solution
• Multi airline setup
• Dual mode operation – both self-service and manned mode operation
• MyAirport BI solution access to statistics and trends

The BAGOMAT self-service bag drop family also contains fully automatic version allowing airports to double bag drop capacity without investing in new terminal area. The BAGOMAT operates with average transaction times as low as 10 seconds thus making it the quickest solution in the market. The combination of quick and easy to operate for passengers results in passenger usage figures as high as >90%.
