Following up our article from last week showcasing Bodø airport with a brand new self-service check in area we now congratulate Tromsø airport with a brand new self-service check in area providing its passengers with the quickest bag-drop on the market. The newly installed self-service bag drop from BBC gives travelers from Tromsø airport a better start on their journey by drastically reducing the time spent to drop their bags. Passengers benefit – less time standing in line at the airport, less stress and more time to spend in the post-security shopping area. 

Tromsø airport, located at Langnes in Tromsø Airport location , is served by Norwegian, SAS, and Widerøe.  The airport offers its travelers 16 domestic and 12 international destinations. Ready in time for one of the busiest times of the year for airport and passengers, Christmas vacation, we installed six self-service bag drop positions and more than doubled the check-in capacity at the airport. The bag drop has been operational since the 9th of December and has handled more than 38.000 bags.
