Almost all airlines offer its passengers the opportunity to check-in online or via an app. But regardless of good mobile solutions the passengers travelling with luggage still have to check-in using kiosks at the airport. In cooperation with Norwegian Airlines, BBC is offering passengers the opportunity to tag their luggage on the way to the airport and move directly to bag-drop thus saving time and money for passengers, airline and airport. 

"We want to make travelling easier. We do this by enabling check-in online or via an app prior to travellling, we want people to move directly to bag-drop as they arrive at the terminal. It saves time and money. We avoid the more expensive CUSS-kiosks where you have to check-in again just to get a bag-tag, the customer avoids standing in line" says the head of the project, Bjørn-Erik Barman-Jenssen.
